ADA Policy

Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We're fully compliant with ADA regulations, including offering fifteen guest rooms with accessible bathrooms and other features. To be sure an ADA room's available for you at check-in, remember to request it when making your reservation.

Alcohol Policy

In the state of Texas, alcohol is for adults-only-so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)

Age Requirement Policy

Kids are always welcome-as long as there are adults around too! Guests must be 21 years or older to check in. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.

Cancel Policy

No need to worry about a last-minute change of plans! If you've got a non-guaranteed reservation, you can cancel it up until 4pm on the day of arrival, at no charge. For a guaranteed reservation, you have until midnight of your scheduled arrival night to cancel free of charge. Any late cancellations may be subject to additional cancellation fees.

These cancellation options may vary depending on the room rate or date-so just make sure to read the "Terms & Details" fine print when you're researching your reservation.

Check Cashing Policy

We're happy to cash checks for our SPG Platnium guests-just be sure to bring along your driver's license and a credit card for ID. Limits on check amounts and other conditions may apply.

Credit Card Policy

A valid credit card is required at check-in. Cash may only be used to settle charges upon check-out.

Currency Policy

Please plan to pay in greenbacks-we only accept U.S. dollars. (But we're happy to help you find a local ATM, bank, or currency exchange center.)

Early Arrival Policy

Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees-it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule-but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime. And just note that if you need to be in the room before 8am, you'll be charged for the previous night.

Extra Bedding Policy

Need to fit in an extra spot for sleeping? We've got comfy air mattresses for grown-ups and kids, plus cribs for your littlest ones. Please contact the hotel for further information.

Gift Certificate Policy

Got an Aloft Dallas Downtown gift certificate? You'll need to contact us directly at (214) 761-0000 to make your reservation, which is subject to availability. Make sure your certificate's been signed and dated by a hotel representative-and be sure to bring it with you when you check in.

Late Checkout Policy

Feel free to sleep in-check-out time isn't until 12 noon. Looking to stick around a bit longer? Let us know and we'll try to keep the room available for you. There's no guarantee, and if you stay put past 3pm another half or full night's room charge will apply. But if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you're ready to go.

Package Handling Policy

We're happy to accept and hold packages sent to you, for a $6 fee - just be sure whoever's sending them knows to clearly mark packages with both sender and recipient info.

Parking Policy

We're happy to offer on-site parking, but please note that it's not included in the room rate. Check out our nightly parking fees.

Pet Policy

Animals are family, too! That's why Aloft Dallas Downtown welcomes dogs up to 50 pounds,* with a $50 deposit that's refundable at checkout after a room inspection. Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they're on their best behavior-we don't want to charge you extra for housekeeping!

* If your dog weighs more than 50 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver.

Pool Policy

Our splash pool offers family fun from morning to night! But please be careful-kids 12 and under can't splash around alone, so be sure they're always accompanied by an adult.

Reservation Policy

To confirm your reservation, we'll need a valid credit card or a full deposit for the first night. If you need to cancel, stick to the deadlines in our cancellation policy and we'll refund the full deposit.

Smoking Policy

Aaahhh...breathe easy! We're a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules-there's a $250 fine for anyone lighting up inside the hotel.
